china doesnt see somalia as important. they have military base in djibouti to secure interest they dont need anything else. somalia doesnt have much purchasing power, few resources, and no major production or goods for china to buy. why they give paltry 28 million

idp camps funding, food aids , they even give direct cash to somali people, the vaccines, funding for wells and clean water, flood management, pest management all this happens from these aids. of course alot of it lost to corruption. but without any aid many would be dead, hostile land has kept somali population small for long time cut all aid i dont think will be pretty site. i dont see anyone else but west batting eye when all the people starving and dying of sickness which why i am suprised by all the west hate

its vicious cycle not having govt because nothing done to change this like build irrigations or plants or roads. we slowly drowning

The problem of the DRC like all of Africa is its elites. The West use to own the mines and give kickbacks to the corrupt elite, now China does it. Doesn't mean its China fault. African elites sell their countries to any willing buyer. No point in blaming the buyer, blame the salesman who Africans happily support.
