Somalia vs. Somaliland.. help me understand.?

I am talking about the country Somalia.This is history, the white man divided the country.. I am against "Somaliland" because it is all nonsense. is couple of reasons the main reason being there scared if they joined somalia darod will come back to power again and if that happens they think the siyaad barre days will comeback
the second is there minority any way you slice it in somalia also siyaad barre made districts marginalized them way before his death the rest of the country will use his districts to conduct voting
