The dead guy has some blame for his own death unfortunately. Why didn't he join a faction instead of trying to act neutral while in a top government post? Isn't that just simply antagonising everyone and asking for enemies on all sides?

I don't mean to be insensitive but most other killings don't really affect me. But the back story of this

young man makes this truly tragic. He had a bright future ahead of him and he was on a clean slate.

He was the result of the civil war and he came back to help fix the mess the elders made.

He wasn't a recycled minister who hass been in Somali politics for decades like most of the old geezers

right now.
