I think it's the other way around sxb. The other Isaaq's wanted the JB unit to enter Dilla and Borama, which they did back in 1991 but pulled back after some senior JB clan elders took pity on the Samaroon and told them to withdraw, which pretty much avoided a full ethnic cleansing. JB are fierce fighters but are generally seen as the most hospitable and progressive Isaaq due to their farming lifestyle.
