These niggas don't even have a functioning port, all their goods are done thru bosaso port. We basically control their all whole trade network. Including to Hiraan and DDSI. Bosaso port must be the most active in Somalia, so how in the world does SL have a larger budget? something doesn't add up because even foreign budget aid isn't more then 60 million.

Something is fishy guys about SL. All their taxes go to bosaso port yet they collect more revenue this is illogical. Either that or PL is faking figures in it's budget so it can 'pocket' it while people don't know the real revenues of the state. What you think it is guys?

Either PL is corrupt as hell or SL is lying but the current budgets of each govt and claims are not logically adding up.

Berbera has high rates is what u said, if it had many customers it wouldn't high rates because many customers will pay the low rates and it all adds up to be more in the end. No they are oromos or Madow usually from the south, they work seasonly and when the ocean is calm and sea faring is possible. We haul them from IDP camps in the thousands and pay them 15 dollars a day to assist with the crazy amount of dhows coming in, safety laws haven't been passed yet maybe the current Madow candidate who is hopeful of puntland presidency will lift up their working conditions if he wins. But I am a proud puntite at all times.

The reason why Bosaso is cheaper is because it’s barely a port. Berbera on the other hand is the largest port (besides Djibouti) in all Somali regions . That’s the difference .

Bosaso can’t charge a real price because they don’t provide a real service . Who remembers when that ship lost its cargo in Bosaso “port” because they didn’t have the actual equipment to offload it and instead used typical Somali on the fly techniques and they ended up failing

Wtf aid are you talking about? SDF = Somaliland Development Fund is separate from our budget,

Foreign Aid pour money in SDF, then Somaliland it for projects and developments.

Our tax system is an absolute great, money comes from Berbera port, and all Somaliland customs in the regions and sub-regions. such as kastamka cashuuraha qaadk, kastamka Xoolaha nool, kasyamka cashuraha gobolada bariga etc, and major companies taxes, large businesses and small businesses as well, then road tax, waddo marista, xashuuraha gaadiidka, cashuuraha dhismaha, etc.


There's nothing to tax in Puntland LOL, also the population in PL very small.


Burco alone generate more tax than, Bosaso and Garowe combined.

Show me proof that it is the richest state, I mean PL can't even pay salaries of soldiers and civil servants on time.
