Somaliland is peaceful even when there's a current conflict happening. It's difficult to prosper when your nit a recognised country.

Yeah I understand your concerns and behalf of them i apologise, a lot of landers are brainwashed in viewing Somalia as a negative entity I doubt is going to stop anytime soon due to ssc conflict.

Let's be honest it has little to do with SSC. Those thugs in Hargeisa even drove away ships carrying Somali refugees but accepted foreign ones. It has a long and dark history if we are being honest and not deluding ourselves

Somaliland is peaceful even when there's a current conflict happening. It's difficult to prosper when your nit a recognised country.

Most of the bright people leave poor countries to earn more abroad. Changes are uncomfortable and take time to manifest. The truth is, people are simply too lazy to endure the tough times to see the fruits of their hard work. This is the reason why, even with recognition, I don't see Somaliland becoming anything different from the average country on the continent.

You are then left with less bright people running the show, doing the same thing over and over again and not producing any change. On top of that, you've got corruption and clan interests. It's like the region is condemned to stagnation.

The depravity and utter lack of comprehension (among other things) of our elders, has created this morphed reality we live in today. The humiliation and suffering our people have faced for almost 4 decades seemed to be inevitably coming to an end. But alas, that morphed reality has become a black hole, creating and echoing destructive ideologies far greater than our elders.

I honestly thought my generation would change things. My time on here is slowly convincing me otherwise. A little food for thought, or maybe not.
