They have those land cruisers in Hargeisa, I saw one around masalaha when I went there


I don't know if dawlada pays their mushahar but Somaliland needs to decide whether they are secular or islamic.

You can't present yourself as a secular state to the cadaan audience and an islamic state to the somali audience. I prefer either full islamic or full secular no half-ass approach

Last I remember (2020-2022), they were still shutting down weddings early, like 11pm to midnight. Even if you had the hall booked for the entire night, you were forced to evacuate early. If you refused to leave, they’d just cut the light off

Burco still has a curfew too. The Salafi sheikhs there are too overbearing.
