Think about the planet early formation. It would've had a single crust at the begin and then rain will fall and be captured in that layer and then more layers of crust would form on top of that previous layer which now stores the water.
Could it of have rained more in one part of the crust then the other parts, yes as it still rains more in some parts of the world compared to others, but that won't mean other parts received no rain at all especially we are talking billions of years here also. Yh one problem though Daroods don't know anything about farming which is why Lower Shabelle has more actual farms producing a lot of crops than Lower Jubba/Gedo. Take for example Luuq it is surrounded by the river on all sides yet there is no single farm lol if you check google earth.

Laag is inhabited by cismaan maxamud I have been there recently and biyo kulul Too warsengeli settle in as far as nugaal but that doesn’t mean they own the land just like mj can settle in sanaag but can’t lay claim to the land.
