Brother, we must understand that institution building and consensus do not happen over night, there are important lessons that we have learned these past 25 years that will only help strengthen the unbreakable bond I know the Somali race shares.

Bahal, the only reason why SL and PL are shitholes but not as bad as the south is the lack of clan diversity. SL is one clan and their junior partner in Awdal, PL is over 85% a single clan. When you look at the south you see hundreds of clans all in a region that is not that big.

Galmudug is a lot of clans, Abgaal, HG, Murusade, Surre Dir, Marehan. Same for Jubaland, and forget about Mogadishu, which has a dozen at least.
Koonfur Galbeed is an absolute joke
Starting from Galkacyo all the way to the Juba river you have dozens of clans and subclans which makes governance by consensus impossible. The only way it could happen is is if Hawiye unites against all odds, otherwise you will have instability for the next couple of decades. I hope they actually form a united state of everything south of Galkacyo until the border with Jubaland because it would mean the possibility of a real nation coming back together. Unlikely though as they don't have strong clan unity to begin with.
