borama and berbera are the most well maintained cities in somaliland but here you have these qasoors saying sl is not developing awdal
without gadabursi there is no somaliland

I realised a lot of those jealous people who want "somaliweyn " want the destruction of somaliland in all honesty. Furthermore, they want to see sl part of the federal system ,a system that is going to be controlled by saggachans in xamar. Borama was developed by its people (they have a large diaspora) also a lot of non reer Awdal from other parts of Somalia built houses and businesses there. That is why you can find many Marehans, Hawiye & Majerteen there. I went to Borama twice (2016 & 2018).

every city in somaliland is built by their diaspora including laas anod,but here is the thing to build and develop your city you need a stable gov and a peacefull states things that exist is somaliland,tell me how many cities in somalia can you compare to borama?

Borama is peaceful due to its people not because of Sland region .There was never civil war in Borama (because it is a 1 clan city) unlike Burco and Hargeisa.

borama during kacaan era was completely neglected but worse still said barre purposely cause fitna between gadabursi and isaaq,he started using gadabursi and their cities to fight SNM,gadabursi were very much involved in the civil war,even the second president kahin was the highest ranking NSS officer in the north and use to attack SNM and interrogate and torture suspected SNM members
so no it wasn't peacefull till the big bad snm came and attacked them but isaaqs and gadabursi made their peace and together built sl,and today borama is bigger and better than it was under said barre

Borama has always been peaceful with or without government. It is people that make a place not the other way around. The south has over 100+ different clans so obviously is it harder to keep the peace.
