I say my country, because regardless of not receiving recognition by the U.N. it wont change
the fact that we are a independent functioning, sovereign country.

That's why I refer to it as my country, to not do so would be a spit in the face of every

Somaliland status is same as Taiwan, they rule their own government but it is still part of China peoples Republic , It means they are not Independent to their own foreign policy , Federal Government Somalia have right to sue international court any country or Firms that make contract to somaliland with out sign of Somalia PM

Finally someone who gets it. Somaliland is far from Taiwan but they have the same status. Somaliland is probably one step lower because Taiwan has been recognized by 19 out of 193 UN member countries.

Even if lets say a few countries officially recognize Somaliland it would only result in more foreign investment and diplomatic missions compared to if Somaliland was recognized by UN, EU, AU etc.
