It's an oral source, I was told the story by my uncle. Chinese traders came to Somalia and out of hunger for thier food started making noodles and showed us how to do it, the brilliant Somali city dwellers liked the idea and kept it as souvenir dish, hundreds of years later some Italian monkey saw it and stole it.
