1 clan of Somalis the Darood pushed Borana from Garbaharey to Nageyle and pushed Wardey from Saako to Kismayo all the way across the Tana river not really isolated

true, but the boran there were isolated from other major clans, and darood were forced to expand south, because the other major oromo clans stopped their eastern expansion. our expansions effected each other.
u also proved me right; it wasn't an oromo vs somali war, it was one clan vs another clan, and so on, and so forth. there's a big difference between oromo and somali fighting each other, organized as nations, with professional armies, AND a few clans fighting each other for land/water.

borana were far away from the other major clans, and far away from their own traditional homelands.
essentially, the borana were bosses of huge lands from ethiopia to modern day kenya to southern somalia, and lost some of that land/power, to expanding somali nomads. essentially, they had a borana empire. and we all know that empires eventually collapse.
before that, the darood and others, were clients, under borana power and rule.
once darood got stronger in numbers, they decided to overthrow their masters.
i ain't mad at em', when you're a nomad, without water/land, you perish with your animals.

but do not exaggerate and act like oromo fought somali as nations. that's far from being true, sir.

That rotten tooth bastard doesn't care, and I hate the fact that they're crying Infront of dirty, smelly, low IQ Oromos. Oromos are the stupidest Africans ever. I hope Somalis enslaves these ugly bastards.
They're literally the bottom of the barrel.

somalis always fought small, isolated, oromo clans, who were far from their homeland.
do not exaggerate. somalis never fought oromo organized as a nation.
Neither did the Somalis ever fight as a nation. Most major Somali migrations and conquests were carried out by individuals clans. The Oromo spread in all directions under the Gada system was much more organised.

As for Darood, some clans actually ended up settling along Oromo due to hostility from other Somali clans. Furthermore, the Borana were allied with Somalis like Ajuraan against the Warday Oromo in the first phase of the Game of wells for the NFD/Jubba region. Some of the Somali clans later turned on the Borana.

What does Boraan mean in your language? In Somalia it means cave-like dwelling or holes, Reer Booraan is said to come from there........

Warday Galla are originally Oromos from Ethiopia. A group of them settled in Baraawe with the Tunni clan. The Dir lineage they have floating around is either fake or represents a group of Dir amongst them whom they probably assassinated. The Somaloid border was far more West and included groups like the Rendille before the Warday and Borana pushed out of “Ethiopia” in the Middle Ages.

Exactly. Oromo and Somalis never fought each other as organized nations. Just individual clans expanding, and competing, for grazing lands/waters/etc. so there's no reason to me, for either side, oromo or somali, to feel superior to the other side. SOMALIS having their own country, named after them, may have given them an edge over other cushitic groups, but look at how somali elites, instead of helping other cushitic brothers such as oromo and afar, they claimed our lands and wanted to make us somali, and ultimately failed.
i'd say, let us look at Islam and see what Allah says makes us superior then?? and what's that? Taqwa, and the application of Islam in ones daily life.
Borana means free, in our language, bor also means east or eastwards.
