Somalia is the number one hotspot for extreme tourism and these YouTubers exploit the poverty and amp up the idea of Somalia being a lawless nation. It’s a great and strategic move for content creators who want to be seen as extreme and going against the grain. The other group who visit are usually part of NGOs and other officials, but they usually stay in compounds and only venture out if they have to.

It’s wishful thinking for to think Cadaan are simply venturing there without a concrete reason.

The city should start giving fines for those home owners and business owners if they don't clean their sidewalks and their back alleys daily.

The city should also set up one day in the month for major clean up. Sending the military, Police, fire department and school kids to the streets, parks, and markets to clean and collect garbage.

The city should also give out two prizes every month:

1) The cleanest district will get a prize and the bragging rights.

2) The dirtiest district will get a fine, and publicly shamed.

At the end of the year the military, Police, fire department and school kids should decide which district would get the prize of being the best district of the year.
