Did you know that Somalis (SNM) invented the use of technicals in modern guerilla warfare?

The more you read about SNM the more you realise they were way ahead of their time, and their methods have had a huge impact globally. They literally changed modern warefare for ever.

Looking at inventories of factions of the Somali civil, SNM had a ridiculous number of technicals:

- SNM = 475 Technicals!
- USC = 170 Technicals
- SSNM = 20 Technicals
- SPM = 65 Technicals
- USP (SSC lol) = 25 Technicals
- SSDF = 170 Technicals
- SNF (Morgan + Ganni..etc basically kacaan orphans) = 160 Technicals
- SDA (Gadabursi) = 25 Technicals

The fact that SNM was successfully dealing with the bulk of Somali Republic's mechanised armed forces necessitated SNM being inventive and resourceful. No wonder they were the most successful Somali armed forces.

To put things in perspective:

A single faction of SNM (Mohamed Kaahin's Koobaad) had more technicals than any other faction in the Somali civil war.

Another SNM faction (Cabdiraxmaan Tuur's) had more technicals than SPM + USP + SDA, combined

SNM was truly supreme. The fact that they showed mercy to USP and SDA is beyond comprehension given the scale of enmity during the civil war.

He was the first president of JSL but Cigaal outmaneuvered him in northern clan politics. The mujaahid advocated JSL involvement in Somalia Italiana conflict resolution, Cigaal advocated isolationist ictriraafism. The result was foreign troops including KDF and ENDF turning the Trusteeship of Somalia Italiana into the Amisom trusteeship known as FGS. Meanwhile JSL didnt get ictiraaf

We could with the collaboration of the USC , but the the usc were divided none of the southies were a reliable partner . We already Lost most of our manpower in the north , we didn't have the full energy to continue the war and loose the remaining of our valuable mujaahidiin. We did the right thing. No regrets .

Its crazy to think that SNM literally changed modern warfare, but their invention of Technicals as well as tactical urban manoeuvres were employed successfully the world over, from Chad and Libya, to Iraq, Lebanon, Afghanistan and more.

The faqash make up anything to discredit SNM. Whether it's discrediting SNM for inventing the technicals during the war against the Faqash, or discrediting SNM for taking down their government and crediting USC instead. I wish I saw the faqash faces when they first faced these the Mujahids in these technicals
