So because I want to marry a non Somali, I shouldn’t care about my community anymore? I love and care about my people. That won’t change.

Media representation matters because it affects how the world views us and how young Somalis view themselves. I’m tired of misrepresentation and awful stereotypes mostly coming from our own people. I want my people to do better.

I know you're Muslim not so sure about the other teenagers on here with their questionable banners.

I said I will watch it from a safe distance never have I supported in the said 'burning'.

I rarely interact with Somalis in real life and I am glad I don't to be fair, as they can be very insidious and labo wijoole at the least the ones I have met in my past life.
