I don’t think they’re any better, but I don’t see half caadan or half madow Somalis justifying atrocities committed by caadans or madows against Somalis whereas half ethio people regularly do this. There was a user on here, something Becky?, who was part Somali and part AA and never said a bad word about Somalis meanwhile there have been full oromos, half oromos and other ethios on here badmouthing Somalis (on a Somali forum!). She had 0 tweets about the atrocities oromos had committed against Somalis but had lots of time to tweet about how we’re evil because the government was deporting oromos. I think that’s a bit of a generalisation again, it depends on the person there’s not a one size fits all thing. Some are more in tune with their culture cuz of their upbringing whereas others can be gaal it really just depends. As for the Oromo the reverse could also be true, your cherry picking examples and for all you know that Oromo could be larping as a half Somali to give her more credibility as it comes as it makes her criticisms valid. Someone like that having explicit disdain for Somalis should already come off as strange, I think a lot of you are oversimplifying complex matters. Some mixed Somalis who don’t even know their fathers endeavour to discover more about their other side even if they weren’t raised by a Somali, don’t you guys remember this case

I know the half oromo girl, she is half Somali and we have mutuals. I wish she was a weird larper but she’s not, which makes her Somali parent’s choice to marry a nationalistic oromo even weirder. She grew up in an area where there are little to no oromos but still chose to side with them even after Somalis in her comments explained the issue with oromo migrants to her. I have met half ethios like her with a weird cuuqdaad that I haven’t seen in other mixed people. Yes, I read about that native lady and I’m happy she found her Somali family. I have no issue with mixed people but I am yet to come across half Somali people with cuuqdaad issues besides half ethios
