somalis online

I’m sorry if this offends anyone, but Somali men have ruined our reputation online far more than Somali women ever have—by a mile. Let me explain:
• That Yusuf guy
• troll accounts going around calling people j***** unprovoked. I get and support it when it’s in response to posts degrading Somalis, but some videos show people being nice about Somalis, and you’ll still find men in the comments throwing j*r**r around for no reason. Even though it’s not a slur, madow people are just overly sensitive.

• The wedding attire debate: Somali men refusing to wear traditional attire because they don’t like how it looks.
• Cussing Somali women: Constantly dragging Somali women online, often unprovoked.
• Telegram group chats: Need I say more?
• That redpill Twitter accounts The most hated Somali account spreading nonsense.
• Teaching ajnabis our language: Using Somali to let outsiders make jokes and mock us.
• Somali TikTok skits: Some of these just make us look like a complete joke.
• Barkhad Abdi’s no offense to him

And sure, Somali women embarrass us sometimes too, but let’s be honest—it’s mostly the men. This online policing within the community needs to stop. I don’t care what ajnabis think of us, but the way some of us act online is making things worse for everyone.

Let’s wrap this up, seriously

I agree with everything you said. The men have embarrassed our community more than anything. Somali women usually represent themselves well regardless of where they go. They need to stop policing somali girls and start policing the other MEN that keep humiliating themselves.

You need people like me
"Online policing needs to stop" also applies to taking issue to what strangers wear to their wedding because you share an ethnicity.
