Time control: If opponent does not make a move within 10 minutes, he is disqualified automatically. 10 minutes is more than enough to think wisely and make a good move.

What's with the rule about leading in pieces after 55 minutes then?
Seems quite strange if after 45 minutes I'm a pawn up I can just sit there and do nothing and win...
Also imagine if someone makes a sacrifice leading to a forced checkmate.
Instead of playing if >45 minutes have passed their opponent can just sit and do nothing and win.

You should’ve taken his second rook with your pawn and promoted that pawn to queen. His queen takes your queen and your rook takes his queen. You would have a rook and a bishop and he would have pawns only. You lost because of your own blunders and not to a better opponent.
