I think people over-exaggerate the influence of qabil on a marriage. My friend was telling me a few days ago how it's so surprising that my dad is majerteen and my mom is hawiye and they don't fight over qabil. lol

Anyway, I think it's more important to marry someone whose values and perspective on life match yours and whose personality complements yours. And you have to be somewhat attracted to them. lol

When I was younger I didn't even look at Somali girls, only recently have I started really approaching them and honestly there's nothing like being with your own. Qabil doesn't matter in the slightest to me, as long as she's Somali.

@waraabe is harmless, his bark is worse than his bite. He just needs his fleas taken care of. And a vile of rabies vaccine handy in case he goes loco ( with qabyaalad). @Duke of Harshaw UDUB is dead though (AUN) I thought the plug was pulled. :(

He is unpredictable though better not take that risk. Majority of UDUB supporters
shifted to WADANI, you saw your adeer ina Mataan quit UCID recently, the only
option now is WADANI.

(1) It was my cousin that gave advice.
(2) She did not suggest anyone, particularly not anyone from back home.
(She merely used repatriation as an argument in support of her opinion).
(3) She tried to nudge me in the direction of marrying within my tribe.
(4) I found this odd since she's not the same tribe as me, and is a byproduct of inter-clan marriage. :ulachen001:
