Been thinking about taking that plunge in my 30's, but now I just want to stay with the stocks. I've been intrigued by Digital Real Estate and Real Estate Investing.
crypto only for now. NFTS are tough to do well in since you're competing with high level experts that have bots searching for the next big project. They'll dump on you as well as soon as they see good returns.
I'm waiting on digital real estate, I think it will be the next big thing once a true metaverse is created. Facebook says it will take 10-15 years to create a metaverse.
Call me old fashioned, but when it comes to investing you should stick with tangible things. If you buy stocks or gold or invest in real estate you own something tied to your name. With crypto and NFT it's not really something that has inherent value and is very volatile. You hear about the winners, but never the losers. If your young like 20s maybe you can be risky, but 30s I would say be more conservative and don't put anything above 5-10% in risky plays. Put the rest in index funds and go to sleep as compound interest does its job.
