Sspot opinion on Eritreans

My father has always spoken well of Somali people. He says Siad Barre helped arm the freedom fighters during our war of independence. I’ve always considered them our brothers but i didn’t know if that’s reciprocated. I know you guys hold Ethiopians in contempt because of Ogaden

Like I've said before, there is no 'beef' between Somalis or Eritreans, even Ethiopians, in the West.

An Amhara guy got me through the door on multiple job listings, he even recommended me his own finance agent. This guy has had more of my back than some family members.

Eritreans have always treated me well and vice-versa, you're good people and Somalis hold you in high esteem, you're good sxb.

Us Somalis have a positive view of u guys. I saw an Eritrean lady struggling with her bags and I helped carry them for her.

I had a muslim eritrean friend that used to go to the same work place with me, he was good and nice guy. The thing about him is that he looks soo somali and till this day I think he is somali 😂

was he habesha or tigre? Because there aren’t too many Tigrinya muslims in the diaspora or back home but the Tigre are almost exclusively muslim. To be fair, I get the same treatment. Most Somali people will walk up to me in the street and ask for help in their mother tongue and I won’t understand a word

Most of my closest friends were Eritreans, incredibly lovely and welcoming people ❤️ I noticed most somalis young and old get easily along with Eritreans.

that’s bad that horn of africa don’t have a common language, like ex USSR Country who speak Russian.

Beautiful people. Eritreans and Sudanese.
I’ve noticed when you first meet them they don’t hold preconceived ideas about Somalis. Unlike other groups whose energy can be a bit weird.

In general, most Somalis don't really know too much about Eritrea. Our nations don't border each other and we have no history together.

Only people somalis know are the Christian Amhara and the muslim Oromo they persecute.
If you're christian, doesn't matter what tribe you are, you're just an Amhara in somali eyes.
