What's embarassing is forcing yourself to have no connection to the country you live in. This is why many Somalis are losers in western countries while other first and second generations flourish. What a great strategy to have your kids and grandkids feel like they don't belong in the country they insist on living in. 99% don't even know how to swim or know how to maintain their lawns so that weeds don't take over.

Has anyone noticed the Somalis in the UK who have been there since colonial times still live in public housing while second generation immigrants move up income brackets?
