This is bigger than just us we're literally gonna wipe out fish of the planet without fish bigger fish and sea animals from sharks to octopuses to whale will starve and die microplankton which make
over 70% of the world oxygen will die cos they depend on whales so we are literally destroying ourselves but many people don't realise this

well i agree youre not actually supposed to use huge nets in ships to get 1000000 fish in 1 sweep, well its legal but its harmful, fishing by yourself is completely fine though and not harmful to nature

Chinks are literally the biggest culprits when it comes to over-fishing. I wouldn't stop eating my tasty salmon fish cakes because Zhang Lee wants to decimate fish populations for an extra 200RMB

-Why you should stop eating fish

- High levels of mercury in fish ( highly toxic organomercury compound )
- Micro plastics ( comes from plastic in sea that dissolves into small particle which fish accidently eat are harmful)
- All nutrients from fish inherently come from the food they eat eg: algae ( why not cut out the middlemen and just eat the source)
- Over fishing if you eat fish you are basically funding the destroying of our planet (this is a very long topic i will make a thread about it don't worry)
- Fish smell anyways and taste gross (this is just my opinion)
- 5O% OF THE WORLDS FISH COME FROM FISH FARMS UFF VERY UNHEALTHY ( I will also make a thread about this)
- By catch when fisherman catch fish they also catch sharks and dolphins as well not good for eco system
- Fish are what keeps coral reefs alive and healthy
- Whale are being killed left right and centre by leftover fishing gear caught in their stomachs when they eat

- Before you say who gives a f*ck about whales just listen micro plankton are small particle thingys in the sea that make over 70% of the world oxygen they also reduce carbon dioxide levels and whales xaar are what keeps them alive without whales oxygen levels will sharply decrease and we need oxygen to breath

WHAT you can do :
Recycle : less plastic end up in sea
boycott fish from your diet
also asians and americans are the main problem i will go deeply in on this in another thread stay tuned

If you want to go into detail watch netflix documentary seaspiracy IN SPOILER ( it will break your heart i'm not saaying be vegan just boycott fish from your diet it's unhealthy anyways (at least the filth ones they sell anyways ))
