I’ve had some crazy experiences and I wanna know what your take is on it. So one day I was walking home it was my freshman year after basketball practice (jv). I live in a predominantly black poor area just so you know. While I was walking these two crackhead old black ladies ask me if I wanted to by these dirty air forces from them, I kindly refused because they were old and polite. I continue walking and wallahi I’ve never seen a faster crackhead in my life. These old ladies chase and rob me on the spot with a knife take my jacket,backpack,phone,and headphones. I went home that day and my dad gave me the beating of my life. Since that day I’ve watched my back every inch of the way. Has anyone else got robbed before?

Not robbed but I almost got assaulted downtown. I was walking to my cousin’s place from the mall (about 15 min walk). When I was about to get there it was getting dark so I started walking quicker. Some old guy came up to me tried to chat to me. He said his wife was “Somalian” and said I was pretty. And then he asked me if I liked flowers??? I was weirded out so I ran. I thought he would chase me but he didn’t but I still didn’t stop running till I made it to my cousin’s house. I didn’t tell anyone though cause I didn’t want them to fuss

Something similar happened to me and my friends in middle school. Two AA girls mistoke us for another somali chicks they had beef wit here we have walking from our school bus wondering around then bam we got jumped by these girls from the back we fell down confused my friend stared crying they left.You're not alone. Why did you dad beat you? It wasn’t a fair fight they had a knife and nothing to live for, nothing to lose, and a drug warping their reality so they could do anything.

Getting robbed and coming home alive was the best thing you could have done. Headphones and nice trainers are not worth your life.
