Su’aal: Waa maxay saluug? Saluugsan?

Saluug: discontent, unhappy with.
In its contemporary application, if one is discontent with a decision, situation, or one's share of something, one is said 'waa uu saluugay', he is discontent with the outcome, share, or situation.

In poetry:
Gabay [sic]:
  • Noloshaa saluugiyo rabbow sulufka aan quuto,
  • Dagaallada sokeeyiyo raboow sooryo biya waaga,
  • Surmigiyo abaartaan baxayn roobka naga suula,
  • Sixir baan arkaa gaaja la susuman suuqa la kala yaacay,
  • Sarrifyada kadeedkiyo faqriga badi na saameeyey,
  • Maxaa laygu soocoo rabbow gaarka igu siiyey?

Hees:
Saluug la' (saluugla' - an appellation designated to a prime lady of sort, one of a kind): one without blemish, content with, of excellence.
  • Dhaaxaan sir iyo caad, waxii aad samaysaba, u sacaba tumayeey,
  • Ogow sabirkii waa jiray, waa seeta goostayoo, sadkiisaa dhamaadaye,
  • In suuldaanku boqor yahay, faqiirkuna sabool yahay, [sic]
  • In sibraar uu muggii yahay, oon saayid lagu darin, ila garo saluuglaay.
