if he’s not brain dead then there’s always a chance. People have come out of comas after years of being under. Many of them could even hear and know what was going around them but just couldn’t move.

To the doctors he’s just another dude in the hospital so of course they’d say let him go, but you can’t expect the same from his family. Even if it’s a 0.1% chance he’ll wake up they’ll still take the chance. You’re not any more educated or in touch with reality just because you’d pull the plug on your family when your doctor tells you to.

The poor guy was hit severe Covid19. His lungs has been destroyed. The doctor told them, before the coma, there’s nothing they could do for him. They insisted that they do more. What abt the prolonged suffering of the love one? Why keep him alive if he is gonna be in a vegetative state, even if he survives?
