My mum will go straight to Allah. She won't call upon inter mediatary to get to Allah. Never say ya Saint. Ya means calling upon something in Arabic. You can only say ya Allah.

Will you call Prophet Muhammad SAW a mushrik too? He ordered blind man to call upon Allah through the Prophet to cure him you are an ignorant fool.


`Uthman bin Hunaif narrated that a blind man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said:
“Supplicate to Allah to heal me.” He (ﷺ) said: “If you wish I will supplicate for you, and if you wish, you can be patient, for that is better for you.” He said: “Then supplicate to Him.” He said: “So he ordered him to perform Wudu’ and to make his Wudu’ complete, and to supplicate with this supplication: ‘O Allah, I ask You and turn towards You by Your Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), the Prophet of Mercy. Indeed, I have turned to my Lord, by means of You, concerning this need of mine, so that it can be resolved, so O Allah so accept his intercession for me (Allāhumma innī as’aluka wa atawajjahu ilaika binabiyyka Muḥammadin nabi-ir-raḥmati, innī tawajjahtu bika ila rabbī fī ḥājatī hādhihī lituqḍā lī, Allāhumma fashaffi`hu fīyya).’”

حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، ضَرِيرَ الْبَصَرِ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يُعَافِيَنِي ‏.‏ قَالَ ‏"‏ إِنْ شِئْتَ دَعَوْتُ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ صَبَرْتَ فَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لَكَ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَادْعُهُ ‏.‏ قَالَ فَأَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَتَوَضَّأَ فَيُحْسِنَ وُضُوءَهُ وَيَدْعُوَ بِهَذَا الدُّعَاءِ ‏"‏ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ وَأَتَوَجَّهُ إِلَيْكَ بِنَبِيِّكَ مُحَمَّدٍ نَبِيِّ الرَّحْمَةِ إِنِّي تَوَجَّهْتُ بِكَ إِلَى رَبِّي فِي حَاجَتِي هَذِهِ لِتُقْضَى لِي اللَّهُمَّ فَشَفِّعْهُ فِيَّ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ مِنْ حَدِيثِ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ الْخَطْمِيِّ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ حُنَيْفٍ هُوَ أَخُو سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ

Using your logic that’s shirk. Cuz your meant to go to allah directly

You make duas for yourself, by yourself, first, and ask your mother as well to make dua for you as after all, seeing your success makes her happy. You would't say, go ask a dead shiekh to ask Allah SWT because he is closer, will you?

Your not allowed to say Ya Prophet Muhammad in dua. Than you will be assisting partners with Allah. You will be worshiping prophet Mihaned. Lear surah fatiha. Iya ka nacbudu wa iyaka nastaciin. You you alone we worship Allah and you alone we ask for help. Not prophet or any creation, including prophet Mohanad or Jesus or ant Saint.

Have you ever asked your mum to make a dua for you ?

Are you saying that asking someone to make dua for you is like praying to a saint?

It is okay to pray to a saint because you are asking the saint to pray for you? That is the Catholic doctrine on praying to Mary. So it is not shirk when Catholics pray to Mary?

so if someone prays this to the Virgin Mary- "The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death, Amen."

Ibn Kathir was a student of Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah, if I recall correctly. Where does Ibn Kathir endorse praying to saints?
