The same quran you read calls muslims to judge by Allah's law (sharia) @Basra
But you prefer secularism
In an Utopian world, where Humans were "perfect" i would say YES, Shariah LAW should be the law.
But i have NO FAITH in humans huuno. That my core beliefs. I think Humans are pathetic, and need constant watch and guidance, or they will go into their individualistic nature, which is animalistic,
thats why i prefer Secular LAW, because it is practical, and can be applied by ALL humans, including Muslims.
If i had faith that Humans would be able to take care of Shariah LAW according to Allah's swt law, then i would prefer that.
My support of Secular Law is not that i say it is the BEST, but it is the most practical, less prone to be abused.
Honestly, we must practice what we preach.
So for everyone harping on about shariah law you guys must be in impeccable position.
However, if some guy who misses fajr in the morning suggests it then it's all nought.
Let us first look upon ourselves first, and others will be attracted. Just like how the trustworthy Muslim traders in Indonesia introduced the religion.

If humans not being just is your reason than who do you expect to rule by secular laws ?
isit not unjust that in secularism a human can make a random law and it can effect people negatively??
The whole sharia framework has been set down to us its not from a human perspective

the laws are made by humans which comes from their nafs they can make up any nonsense and deem it a law
Sharia is not a human made law, its from your creator and he tells you to follow it in the quran.

But.......yes there is that convenient "but" that u choose to ignore.
ALL Humans are NOT MUSLIMS.
Therefore, we live in a plural Religion. Now, in Somalia for example - 100% i think Shariah Law should be installed. Because the population is ALL muslims. Even though i think the Human "somalis" Shariah police will do all those u listed on the down low, and pick stupid points they agree collectively-- for example abuse women and impose their man strength on them.
Secular Law takes account into a society, voting what they collectively agree. The French phenomenon is a good example. Muslims imposing their will on a people whom that is their country.
It is a duty to French Muslim to move out of France and go to their own lands. A duty.
But guess what? They will not?
Why???

The french was just an example i gave of how humans use their hatred and destructive emotions to cause devastating laws.. = secularism

So you are saying the police in a sharia state will indulge in sin but enforce laws so it is contradictory?? but how would you know they sin ? we are not here to open the hearts of people but we judge by apparent only those who sin publicly will be rebuked publicly

Actually the Shariah Police in Somalia being hypocrites is not a big concern for me honestly
The over arching Shariah Law in Somalia would be the best for Somalia in the end.
For me, i like to use my reasons, not walk like a zombie.
I recognize the beauty of Shariah Law. ALL Humanity would benefit from it.
But i am also reasonable & practical
Tbh if you look deeply there is no sharia worldwide, a hybrid system is not sharia, it needs to be implemented in its entirety evidence in the quran this verse

I reject any form of modern laws that have engulfed our generation, i am forced to live under it because i can't escape it since its implemented worldwide but deep down i am sharia advocate and i reject everything the sharia rejects.
This is what we as muslims must follow cause we are living in times of pure fitan
