Wdym? Didn't they rule until 1969 where Siad Barre took down the gov and brought the Kacaan until 1991. Then from 2012 to today you've got a new class of people in the fgs which are danyeers compared to Kacaan and SYL rule

No the people who ruled till 1991 were just former members of SYL I think it wasnt the actual party.

I'm sure this is Yasin Osman Kenadiid right. I have a photo of my grandad's one Allahu naxaristo SYL oo dhan. The irony is these current crop of politicians are 'educated' through going abroad yet are enslaved minstrels who tap dance for foreign interests, they have far more 'money' and 'connections' yet are still subjugated and lack any ability to make *real* changes (do not think those in power have real power, they are subordinates to foreigners wallahi). While SYL was a group of youth who only had secondary level education and were freedom fighters and anticolonial. There is so much in that alone
