But you have to keep in mind it is religious Sunnis they fear the most, which is what they have spent the last few decades attacking and destroying (not secular leaders who work for them but the religious populace). What the yinon plan was to busy the different factions fighting each other, it looks like the Sunnis will take Syria. They are not zionist puppets like the leadership in the other countries, if they take control I dont see how that would be good for zionists. You can not blame them for fighting those who killed and displaced them in the millions and taking their land back.

But can you also blame them if they choose to have no conflict with US/Israel and focus on peace and building their country? Why would they spend all this time fighting Assad only to face even more war and conflict afterwards?

I just dont think it will happen. They are very religious for the most part not nationalists.
