then why is shaydan julani still there? I will never support terrorists, "reformed" or otherwise. My stance doesn't change, why should I accept HTS as a legitimate group when I don't accept Mukhtar Roobow as a minister? Terrorists never change and so the way you deal with then can't change either. It's either they go or syria will go and when syria goes it will go down.

Gaddafi fell and Lbiya is now divided. Syria follows the same tendency. Those who shout & celebrated about the trump of "revolution of democracy" of Syria they are going to be sorely disappointed. I am not saying this for the Syrians, whose demands are legitimate. But by the European, Western and other sectarian donkeys who believe that the whole world works under their vision and their parameters. Nobody remembers Libya anymore and possibly they will not remember Syria anymore.
For the moment our Syrian brothers are doing well and I hope they will continue to do so, a time of deep uncertainty is opening up for them. It is true that Syria needed changes, but terrorism is not part of these changes. Know that and always remember it 🇸🇾
Deep down, many Somalis especially on this thread are wishing for Al Shabab to do the same.

I predict terrorist Jolani and his Turkish backers will divorce if Assad goverment falls, Jolani wants de-centralized rule by small Islamic councils across the country polar opposite to Turkey's plans for a unifed satellite state in Syria. His terms are favourable to all the local ethnicities who don't want to suffer under another al qaeda offshoot ruling them. Kurds, Alawites, Christians and all other minorities will have a honeymoon period before a radical faction declares they want a centralised state and Erdoğan will back them and we will see a civil war occur post Assad. The situation looks highly untenable for Assad and his goverment.

I think we are witnessing something akin to the USC (HTS terrorists and Rebels) advance towards Mogadishu (Damascus) and the fall of the Kacaan (Assad Dyanasty). Maybe the situation will turn around but things look dire in Syria. Inshallah the people will prevail and save their country from Al Qaeda.
