So Idilib under Jolani supported joint civil administration between their Shariah-civil administration and Kurds secularist-democratic civil administration. To me that shows compromise and understanding not found in typical Salafi groups. You can be against them and support Assad, but it’s cheap propaganda to accuse them of terrorism when the same can be said of Hezbollah or Iraqi Shia militant groups helping Assad, who are likewise categorised as terrorist organisations by Western governments.
