Syria Updates: The Fall of Bashar al-Assad

Garaad Awal

War is coming.
Anyone notice how careful Putin is to not harm civilians in Ukraine? Never bombing hospitals and civilians infrastructure.

While in Syria he regularly bombs hospitals and civilians. He carpet bombed cities there in the past and same thing with Chechnya.

Putin kills civilians in Ukraine and he has done it in Chechnya as well. He even did false flag operation on his own people and blamed it on Chechen rebels. Him and his regime are morally decadent human beings

Five years ago, we bid farewell to Abdul Baset Sarout, one of the icons of the Syrian revolution.

Sarout was born in Homs in 1992 and became one of the most famous football goalkeepers in Syria after joining al-Karamah Club in Homs.

In 2011, Sarout led demonstrations in Homs, becoming famous for his distinctive chants that ignited the spirits of Syrians and sharpened their resolve.

Sarout was forced to take up arms and form the "Bayada Martyrs" battalion in 2012 following repeated attacks by regime forces on protesters and the siege of neighborhoods in Homs city, especially after the regime offered a financial reward for anyone who could provide information about Sarout's whereabouts or kill him.

During the years of the revolution, Sarout lost five of his brothers, his father, and other family members at the hands of regime forces.

He participated in many battles to break the siege on neighborhoods in Homs and lost dozens of his battalion's fighters. Sarout remained committed to the revolution and confronting the regime until he participated in the "Tal Malah" battle in the northern Hama countryside, where he was wounded on June 8, 2019, leading to his martyrdom.

Homs is Abdul Baset Sarout's home town. He was one of the most famous people in the revolution and popularized many songs.

MashaAllah, this end times series deserves it own thread as well. I will make it in the Islam section inshaAllah.

Most likely all the Assad loyalists, including the shia they have been bringing in from other countries for over a decade to change demographics. People will be returning for their homes. 12 million displaced Syrians.

''These green buses have played a critical role in the complex population swaps that have been taking place across the country. Six years into the conflict, the contours of the Syria of the future are beginning to emerge with ethnic-sectarian and urban-rural divides ushering in the birth of a very different country.''

zionist/israeli news reporting the US is trying to pressure Turkey to stop the rebels and another report that says they bombed some of Assads weapons that fell to the rebels territory.

Weapons they were happy Assad having.

🤣Time and time again, we continue to see reports that easily shatter the propaganda and narrative of the Axis of Resistance supporters.

🤣You must be smoking crack if you think Israel would be okay with Sunnis taking over Damascus, which is only about 60 to 65 kilometers (37 to 40 miles) from the Golan Heights, where you can clearly see the city on a clear day. They would prefer Syria to remain in turmoil, weak, and divided, it's better for them if everyone keeps fighting each other without a clear winner.

🤣Why would Israel be interested in seeing a strong, united Syria and have it as its neighbor? They know Sunni-Syrians might get some funny ideas at some point.

Assad is the preferred option currently.

Because the shia are not sincere, if they were they would not be killing Sunnis everywhere else. Especially Assad, who is of an Alawi background and is likely an atheist. That regime has targeted Sunnis for decades.

Whereas the Sunni Syrian population like most Muslim laymen tbh are sincere in their support. Plus the Syrian rebels are mostly religious Sunnis.

You can even tell how they have been raising the Palestinian flag and the way they have always celebrated Palestine in Idlib.

One of the Hamas leaders was recently saying in an interview they donated 20 million in a month alone to Gaza.

They are very worried.

Israeli intelligence sees a faster-than-expected collapse of the Syrian army's defense lines in the fighting with the rebels in northeast Syria in the past 24 hours, two senior Israeli officials said Why it matters: The rapid advance of the rebels - the taking over of Aleppo a few days ago and the city of Hama today have raised questions inside Israeli military intelligence about the Syrian army's ability to function and made the scenario of the rebels advancing towards Damascus more possible, an Israeli official said Behind the scenes: In recent hours, several urgent consultations have been held inside the IDF in light of the rapid developments in Syria. The security cabinet meeting planned for tonight is expected to focus largely on the situation in Syria
