We're suppose to gain weight when pregnant
A small, natural weight-gain is normal and expected but becoming overweight and gorging on everything one craves is not a good idea and is going to set the child up for deformities, a rough birth and/or issues like diabetes. Just eat lots of nutrient dense foods like organs, fatty meats, eggs, seafood and dairy, get loads of sleep and stay away from calorie restriction of any kind (including fasting), anything artificial and processed and you should be fine.
