@The alchemist rather than AEA-derived, could it be cultural diffusion from Cushitic-speaking groups into Nilotes and Nilo-Cushites? They would've adopted pastoralism from someone, and that group could've been it. NS are much too Central Saharan for me to imagine an AEA-link tying our practises and theirs together.
