It is factual tho. in this alternate timeline if The icu was granted to stay. the crazy but not yet terrorist wing of which al shabaab was borm could have been bigger with more influence and the situation would be 10 times worse then now. Am i wrong or not?

@Yoo AY was the rightfully elected president of Somalia. ICU had no right whatsoever to go to war against him. As the head of the Somali state he had every right to request the assistance of Ethiopia & US to quell their rebellion. AY is the reason why we have an FGS today. He made sure that the ICU knew that the only way forward in Somalia was through peaceful means. No one can impose a centralized gov in Somalia without consensus. Even those who were members of the ICU accepted the legitimacy of the FGS at the end.

Btw the ICU directly threatened Puntland with invasion, thankfully it was crushed in Bendiradley and collapsed.
