Crusades were not that strong. They came when Muslims had already had control of the area for 450 years. The Crusades were only able to hold Jerusalem for 90 years. Jerusalem was only a Christian city from 1099 - 1187. If you look back, the Muslim conquest was good for the Jews because they were being ruled by the Roman Empire & Byzantine who did not allow them to practise their religion freely. When the Muslim conquest of Jerusalem began in April 637 CE the Jews were able to practise their religion again.

Also, the crusades were much more brutal. They killed many Jews and didn't even spare any women and children. After Muslims took back control from the crusades they held it for another 500 years until the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. Now it has not been over 100 years until they took control but the Muslims will get it back again Inshallah.
