Both are bad leaders. But at least Xasan Sheekh presidency comes with some kind of progress however small it may be, On the other hand during farmaajo's term there was no progress at all. Just regress. Everything became a shit show. Farmaajo must be the most incompetent leader in the world. I don't know how anyone could support him.

He is politically illiterate. His strong man rhetoric isolated Somalia and strained our relationships with the West and a lot of our traditional allies like Egypt. He is a hindrance to development, good riddance.
Defeating Shabaab isn’t the only criteria for development. Though I must admit Shabaab has regressed a little under the current admin.What progress has there been under either of them? Was Shabab defeated, was 1 man 1 vote held, did they do anything concrete that was of value? I don't get it

•Punishing corruption in Somalia within his government. With proof being somalia going down in the corruption index 2 spots during farmaajo, only for Hassan to bring us back to #1 2 years in a row since he gained presidency.
•Qatari trained NISA being quoted as a top 10 intelligence agency in Africa (Somalia’s first successful but now compromised deep state since the kacaan)
•Giving 300’000 Somali youth education materials and repossessing 24 private schools for profit, to make them more accessible to Somalis. aswell as training tens of thousands of teachers. Vowing to retake all private for profit ownership of schools in Somalia. SIMAD is one of these, which is one of the the many reasons him and Hassan aren’t in good terms.

Even the very SNA HSM used to wage his (failed) campaign against Al-Shabab was built by Farmaajo. I get the frustration some had over the lack of progress against Shabab but there is a good reason for that since Farmaajo was busy building the SNA from scratch which paid off to some extent (Danab, Gorgor). Meanwhile this fool HSM pissed away all that hard work and now hundreds of good soldiers have died, deserted, or neglected of salary.

, the only thing farmajo contributed was eritrean trained troops and it is well known what his intentions were for them starting from the .5 clans he intended to dominate them.Soldiers are paid their salaries and captured deserters have to face military courts.
