Long story short, this South Asian brother in Arab cosplay showed the guys side of the story.

The guy reached out to this woman to get her advice on him hypothetically marrying a single mother secretly. His family are against him marrying a non-virgin so he will marry the girl but not tell his parents until it’s appropriate.

He wants it to be a marriage of convenience in which they protect each other from zina and he allegedly offered to support her unless she is loaded.

Still kinda dodgy.

Tbh he still seems a bit shady, but in light of new evidence the guy doesn't seem as bad. This is why it's best to not judge someone until we get to hear their side of the story. No matter how damming a piece of evidence may seem, it could just be that it was taken out of context in an attempt to paint someone in a bad light

With that being said, I still don't think he's all the way in the clear. The sister that made the initial allegation should be given a chance to respond. For all we know she may still have other pieces of evidence that supports her initial claim. People should take a neutral position and wait until both sides have been able to fully plead their case and present all the evidence they may have

He was definetly wrong to be messaging her to begin with, not appropriate. But all this slander and lies about a Muslim brother being promoted by some Muslims is shameful.

Muslims assume the best of their brothers and sisters in Islam and make excuses for them until things are absolutely clear. Even then, you advise and not slander or insult.

I am not sure why but he mentioned that she will also be releasing a statement on it clarifying and apologizing like him and that they discussed with local Imams and had an agreement.
