Liberal is a very complicated and loaded word. It is used by everyone from leftwing parties like the UK LibDems to the centre right in America. 'Communist' is completely different. You're comparing apples and oranges.

What do you mean exactly by a "communist model"? The chinese allow free enterprise in close collaboration with the state. That's completely at odds with communism.

How is it that all three musharax are Isaaq? post 91 somaliland politics are a mess, we should either use the colonial and state of somaliland method, or go back to our qabylaad roots, and fight every subclan.

I think it's best if we go back to our parliamentary system, that way, each constituency and qabiil is represented in Parliament.

Only Egal and Qaalib were prime ministers, but even now under 4.5 there will never be an isaaq or dir president or prime minister.

They won't let the North go, but at the same time won't give them proper representation in government. Siilanyo doesn't speak for me, just as Abdillahi Yusuf didn't speak for you. His policies are something new and so are his authoritarian tactics.

Also, I'm talking about the Somali Republic, long before Somaliland declared independence, where a town of about 4000 people called Walaweyn had more voting power than Hargeisa (it's why Isaaq have called Southerners as walaweyns ever since). Go read about it.

You will people say Isaaq/Landers don't want to be part of Somalia because politically they are a minority but I think that's all the more reason to have your own thing.
