The German economic engine so crucial to Europe is running out of steam and has contracted for a second straight year . The continents share of of global GDP is shrinking since 2008 the US and China have both overtaken it and are leaving the continent in the dust

It’s been unable to foster any relevant tech companies and already looks set to lose out on AI in this Digital age economy the lower productivity and ageing workforce are not helping

The german issue is that their cheap russian gas compared to the market price is off, they can't compete as they used to be.

Regulating big companies is good.

Western Europe needs to apologise to Russia, Germany is a high tier industrial manufacturing giant, from steel to chemicals and pharmaceuticals, they are THE economic engine of the EU.

With Russia's cheap energy reserves and Germany's/France's industrial output, the EU would easily compete with the USA, maybe even surpass them by linking with the Chinese Silk Road initiative.

Unfortunately, the people of Europe are occupied by these parasitic elite, the complete embodiment of a chinless wonder, after all, it was stated that NATO was needed to curb them from challenging US hegemony.

The purpose of the Alliance was to keep the Americans in Europe, the Russians out, and the Germans down.

The EU will turn on each other eventually. You see it with the way they go after certain countries. Lazy sods like the Spanish and the Italians get a free pass.

Germany will soon wake up from its slumber and assert its power as the dominant force in Western Europe.

Germany (and Japan) till today is still occupied by the Anglo alliance, and some people still insist that the West is a 'united front', the British are the cancer of Europe, constantly acting as a bridge for the Yanks to infiltrate, once Europe, from Russia all the way to Britain unites, I truly believe would absolutely trump (heheh) the USA, and easily go blow to blow with the Chinese.

AFD will win. Next month is elections. AFD will build back nordstream. AFD is genuinely pro-GDP growth. The same way as Trump. They dont like being American vassal state. They want more ties with Russia. The tide is changing in Europe. AFD will win on two things. Migrants chimping out. And living cost crisis. All the stabbings/shootings will change the results.

At a rally in Saxony on January 11, Alice Weidel unveiled a new manifesto for the Alternative für Deutschland (AfD), supported by 20 percent of the German electorate. Among other things, this manifesto pledges to seal Germany’s border, deport undocumented immigrants, take Germany out of the eurozone, and restart the Nord Stream pipeline.

The AfD refused to condemn Russia for its 2022 invasion of Ukraine in its manifesto, signaling that the party wishes to prioritize Germany’s economic relationship with Russia.
