Takfiring someone because of drinking alcohol is from the khawarij minhaj.
btw I have never been an Andrew Tate fan and I have no problem with anyone criticizing it if he says something wrong. but making takfir because of someone drinking alcohol is textbook khawarij stuff. maybe just say he got busted with alcohol or something but takfir is too far.
anyways, I don't get why the push to go to the point of making takfir and saying Tate isn't a Muslim... this could be due to him being a munafiq but it could also just be him being a bad Muslim as well as having troubles adjusting to a new Islamic lifestyle
how is calling someone a fake Muslim not takfir? it seems like clear takfir. I'm not an Andrew Tate fan but I don't see how you can call someone a fake Muslim and not be accusing them of being kaffir... are you saying he's a fake Muslim and a real Muslim at the same time????
if what you're trying to get at is that this guy isn't being a good Muslim and following Islam properly, I already am convinced. I just think calling him a "fake Muslim" is too far unless you can explain how that can be interpreted in a way that isn't takfir.

So the person in your example is a non-vegan. I am figuring you accuse or have accused Tate of being a non-Muslim. You haven't explained how calling him a fake Muslim can be interpreted in a way that is not takfir.
Also that analogy is not a good analogy. The core of veganism is not consuming animal products like milk or meat. The core of Islam is tawheed.
If you never stopped eating meat, you are a non-vegan. Theoretically, someone could drink alcohol every day and still be a Muslim. They are super sinful but maybe they are addicted and feel remorseful after they do it but are having trouble quitting. But making takfir of them on that basis is from the minhaj of the khawarij.
I had a neighbor who said he was trying to be Muslim. I caught him drinking alcohol. It doesn't necessarily mean he wasn't sincere, it could be just that he's addicted- or sinful. But we have to be very careful when it comes to takfir.
But definitely from my point of view- Andrew Tate is not following Islam properly. He has a shirtless profile pic on twitter. when you're a new revert, you should be very gung ho about trying to implement the dīn. my theory is he's either a full blown munafiq or has a weird wrong interpretation... or maybe just not knowing things

What is your problem, lady? He took the shahada, and that is what counts. What he does with the rest of his life is up to him. You aint in a position to declare someone to be a fake Muslim. May be you're sharing your own insecurities when it comes to Islam. So don't sugarcoat it and air the underlying causes that is driving you to go nuts.

Not defending the guy but he was a kaffir for 30+ years and he hasn’t been Muslim for not even 2 months. Old habits and vices are hard to give up so there’s no need to takfir him for the sake of your akhira. But he shouldn’t be flaunting alcohol on his social media though
