The great country Ethiopia ready to invest in Zeila(Saylac) Port, Awdal

Previously it was known that Ethiopia wanted to build a military base in Zeila, Awdal. Now they want to build the port. Ethiopia is way ahead of all the countries in the horn. With this brilliant idea Zeila will again emerge as the brilliant port linking Ethiopia to the sea as it has been for centuries.

The most beautiful part is Farmaajo has signed an agreement for Ethiopia to invest in Zeila port.

This deal is worth more than your brain is able to comprehend. Do you think Ethiopia would risk it's growing economy on Djibouti Guelleh owned port or Berbera UAE owned Port. Ethiopia is gunning many ports this will also decrease the monopoly of the ports in the region which means cheaper prices and more access for Ethiopian goods to the Indian ocean. Zeila Port, Garacad Port, Kismaayo Port, Hobyo port, Mogadishu Port, Bosaso Port and Masawa Port. etc. Wallahi Ethiopia is playing a smart move.

They could but Somalia cannot enforce a port deal in Awdal lol, it is out of their reach currently.
