Erdogan is given far too much credit, his show of 'resilience' to the west is at first impressive but then you learn his nation still is a vassal state of NATO, either he'll really be serious or he'll capitulate under pressure.

Putin however is a master, just yesterday he launched the beginning of a turbine engine production for their military ships making them fully self sufficient, the sanctions they were faced with has now become their strength.

Not to mention his checkmate on Crimea, and slapping the U. S so many times over syria letting the world know that the US is a ISIS ally.

Why, what's wrong with him?
He is like Hilary lite (mixed with a lil' pseudo-Obama); a fake progressive
He supports the TPP (and fought for it)
He's pro keystone xl pipeline without fixing the methodology, which is very anti-environment
Lots of neo-liberal tendencies...for example, an openness to war
He always talks about himself as if he's the candidate for millenial voters when he's status quo
He supports facist-like laws that kill free speech & free expression
He pretends to be a Feminist and uses it to give himself a more liberal appeal...but is too cowardly to walk the walk
He pretends to be pro-immigrants but refuses to oppose Bill C-51
He is willing to take in illegal immigrants because 'diversity is our greatest strength'...and yet has a strict application policy for legal immigrants
I also speculate that he takes advantage of the refugee situation to groom future liberal voters
When he was doing high school tours (prior to him being elected) one of his "selling points" was talking about how he's pro-weed legalization
He backtracks on a lot of important progressive positions & prioritizes irrelevant 'symbolic' (sjw) ones for publicity
Doesn't stand firm for Canada's interests and doesn't bring anything unique to his leadership position
He does nothing significant as BC(and soon the city of TO) slowly turns into little China [mostly due to corrupt* millionaire money by the way]
He seems like he feeds off of the celeb culture & tries to integrate politics into it...(I don't like when any politicians do this)
Very very willing to cuck for America and their masters.

Only thing 'unique' that he did that I respect (if he follows through, that is) is the focus on the neglected Indigenous.

But he's good looking and did this though

But in all seriousness, bolded is pretty shitty. Seems like he's not as ultra left as right wingers had me believe. The rest seems meh compared to other world leaders though. Was there a realistic alternative? Are you Canadian and did Somalis vote for Trudeau?

Yes, the ones you've bolded are the pretty significant ones. I'd add the following 4 to it though:
He supports facist-like laws that kill free speech & free expression

-- If you take a look at Canada's "hate speech" laws, the sjw curriculum in the Education system, and Jordan Peterson's YouTube videos, you'll understand why I emphasize this...
He pretends to be pro-immigrants but refuses to oppose Bill C-51
-- I personally don't feel threatened by the Bill but I strongly oppose it on principle; it gives government way too much power
He does little to nothing as Vancouver (and soon, Toronto) slowly turns into little China, unnaturally [mostly due to corrupt* millionaire money]
-- Lots of Chinese children of millionaire are moving to Canada, buying property, and skewing the housing market towards unaffordable. If you have the time, I'd recommended the following video; it's very insightful and describes the situation without getting racist (balanced perspective).
Very very willing to cuck for America and their masters
--National pride is integral to any country and as principle, puppet leaders should be rejected.

Edit: And yes, I'm Canadian. As for whether Somalis, as a collective, vote for him here...I live in a relatively small city (almost no Somalis here) so I don't know :zhqjlmx: Most immigrants tend to vote either Liberal or NDP though(New Democratic Party; the Bernie Sanders of Canada imo)...my parents voted for Trudeau:vqbuyv0:

I agree Trudeau is turning out to be a cuck, British Columbia exports millions of gallons of water to California and other resources, with our Dollar weakening from the Tariffs imposed my Trump, Trudeau would be smart to reduce our shipment of natural resources or atleast up the price but he most likely will not do that.

Another thing is that Nestle company have been draining our water resources for literally pennies, Trudeau said something about addressing this issue since it has been going on for a long time but I see no sign of anything changing.

The USA own our natural resources and I do not see that changing for the forseeable future. I hope Trudeau deals with these issues sooner rather than later but I expected him not to be good with the economy.

I voted for Muclair, while my parents and my eedos and Habaryars voted for Trudeau :mjlol:

Ps. Are you from Vancouver or the surrounding Suburbs ?

Wow, I wasn't aware of BC's water exports to California...Cali's having major problems with droughts and forest fires though so I understand the demand for it. Trump can probably sense that Trudeau Jr. is weak and he's definitely taking advantage to the detriment of Canada-- not only the decreasing value of our dollar...but our national security is at risk, lots of people are being laid off their jobs as well (those attacks on Dairy and Lumber industries) and I bet Trudeau didn't even try to call Trump's bluff(imo) regarding NAFTA re-negotiations.

I read a few stories about the Nestle stuff and yea, it's a messed up issue and it gets complicated as time goes on (a lot of workers are dependent on Nestle's success in order to maintain an income although Nestle's "success" will have horrible long term implications). It's ridiculous how these companies get so big that they become almost impossible to even challenge; it's bad enough when money corrupts politics...but threatening essential and scarce resources??:uCkf6mf: It doesn't surprise me that Trudeau hasn't addressed the issue though, it seems like he's proved time and again that he's more talk than action anyways. The US is pretty dominant over everyone tbh, so maybe I shouldn't be too hard on Canada in that regard.

Lol, basically same thing here...parents voted Trudeau but I currently lean towards NDP. And no, I don't live anywhere near the Vancouver area.
