I don’t think the woman preparing this can read Somali, let alone the English on the bottles she is mixing. She doesn't know that chemical reactions will take place between the various chemicals. I think some of the lightening effect is due to mild chemical burning. Insane

These women & girls will have liver and or kidney failure if they use this long term. The social cost of their future healthcare will be staggering.

Chemistry 101: do not mix certain chemical substances. I once remember wanting to clean an old kitchen floor tile, and someone telling me to mix bleach with vinegar (mind you each works great by itself, and some twat might think by mixing them, the result would be compounded). Lucky for me, listening nearby was a family friend, who is a chemist, needless to say, you should never be mixing those two, which give rise to chlorine gas, which could collapse your lungs.

Does anyone know the components / ingredients of the concoction? I am sure there are enough scientists, who could advise them against that.
