Haji Ibrahim Nur was the representative of the Awdal community who signed independence from Britain. Can you tell us how Somalia repaid him? I'll tell you...

They integrated the former British Borama district (Awdal) with Hargeisa and Berbera thereby causing us to lose the region the British gave to us.

From 1960 to 1990 Somalia not only destroyed our region but they didn't build one road, one well not even one school.

This was just a historical post or are you saying we should have stayed with the British lol.
 
3/4 are not even Isaaq. It’s very sad to see the difference in how they were treated pre-independence to now. The level of cuqdad these people are shown, and people are surprised they don’t want to be a part of Somaliland now.
