The younger generation hate LeBron because of his superteam tendencies, fanbase, and because he dominated the East for an entire decade. Most LBJ haters are Bulls fans, Celtics fans, Raptor fans, and Pacer fans. He demolished those teams from 2011-2018.

LBJ is also widely hated by KD, Kobe, and Warrior fans. Lots of Laker fans don’t even accept LBJ.

The point isn’t to compare the two eras and the teams that played in those eras, rather it is to evaluate the competition the players faced. (I know it sounds contradicting but I can’t word it differently) To call Jordan’s competition “plumbers” and “mechanics” is pretty disrespectful. I didn’t grow up on that era and even I can acknowledge their greatness.

I stand by my original statement, Jordan’s East was stacked while LBJ’s Finals opponents were stacked.
