what is stopping the SNA from taking the fight to Shabaab? Bad idea to just set base in random village/town not far from AS. Asking to be attacked at that point. Much more effectively to constantly be on the move. Capturing Ceelbuur won't be a problem. Its Galhereeri/jacar/bargan/cosweyne that is the real mission.Barujed attack, form alshabaab pov, seems like they captured 2 fighting vehicles and some vans ? before retreating.
imo these hit and run attacks on rural villages with small SNA presence will continue until alshabab strongholds like ceelbuur, galhaeeri etc fall.
SNA is currently in Barujed

The 4S operation last month was impressive. 100km+ land liberated in such a short space of time. Shabaab are pussy they rarely fight face to face always sneak attacks. A free Galmudug and Hirshabelle is what we want to see IA but work has to be put in.last month we captured camaara, baacadweyne, xinlanbi and everything in between
we're consolidating our forces before we make another push
gogor units from xamar arrived in wisil yesterday
alshabab needs every victory they can get for PR.
a war is long and bloody akhi, and we will certainly lose more people.
alshabab is very desperate and tenacious.
they're also cowards and hide among the miyi people when the SNA shows up anywhere.
Its hard to call them a legit army in galgaduud now, they're more like a roaming gang or bandits.
they don't really control any real piece of land.
just how easily SNA walked into ceelbuur in August will prove that.
their days in central regions are numbered.
Big news. One of the top 3 waceysle shabaab locals. Head of Galcad, Budbud, Cosweyne and Masagaaway.
