The Oil Sharing Agreement

Incredibly decentralized. I’d probably reduce the onshore share for the producing region down to 10% and increase the share for other states appropriately but otherwise there’s nothing for anyone to really complain about here. If anything the FGS is taking too little.

Some people thought the money would only be taken by the FGs and politicians into their pockets; that's not how our system will work. The Somali oil is nationalized, which means it's owned by every single Somali citizen, and they must benefit from the revenues we generate from it.

That’s the ideal but we know Somalis sxb. We will see what the survey says first of all.

This is how the Oil Revenues will be Shared if we become Oil producing country by 2025 and it's pretty fair tbh.
Everyone gets the cake

A win win for all, I would agree on the proposed sharing deal. Imagine if we treat each other as equals, things will look formidable in the future. Eat from the cake but make sure others benefit as well. It is human nature to do so and an obligation upon muslims to give sadaqah.

Security, security, security—only after AS is no longer a problem. They should build buses, trams, and HSR connecting Somalia, while also focusing on infrastructure. This would increase competition.

Also, focus on renewable energy to significantly reduce electricity costs. The whole of Somalia should be fully electrified. Additionally, I forgot to mention that education should be the second priority. The entire Somali education budget should be atleast 1-2B$ annually, with mandatory schooling for everyone until the age of 20. Making university free and opening many trade schools should also be priority

I worry about this especially. All it takes is one insane Al-Shabab member or Mooryan subhuman to blow or shoot up an important oil site.

The Turks will protect the oil sites with their army; that person would be eliminated within seconds, even before they could shoot.

A plan should also be in place to distribute wealth to federal states that lack abundant natural resources. This would help prevent wealth from being concentrated in only a few states.

Current FGS is very corrupt
Highly likely the future administration is too

can’t trust them not to use the money against the region

There's still no proven Oil or Gas in the search area. The potential is there and hope to god we find something but could also end up empty handed.
